For this 3rd project in GD1, we were to create a short term identity for an event. We picked an event from a hat and a city from another hat. I randomly picked Experimental Film Festival and Montreal. To create my short term identity, I created figures that were made up of pieces of film and montreal. For example, I used a video camera for his head, a Montreal Canadian hockey player for his body, the quebec flag around his neck, and he is holding a wand with film streaming out. I was also really happy with how this project turned out, being the last project for the class I was able to use the last drops of creativity without burning myself out completely. My favorite part is the magnetic closure that holds the brochure. I need to fix the clasp for the packaging unit, because it somehow ripped when I got it back from my professor. But not that big of a deal.
The pictures I took are pretty DIY, and i should have taken them on a black background. But i'll probably re-shoot them for my portfolio anyway.
